The first Pegasus Designer Days Expert take place March 2026
Friedberg, March 05, 2026: Pegasus Spiele invites aspiring game designers to the digital Designer Days Expert on March 25 and 26, 2026. There, they will have the opportunity to present their game ideas to the Pegasus Spiele editorial team and Ralph Bruhn from Hall Games. For the first time, only ideas for sophisticated core and expert games are being sought. Registration is now open now through March 15, 2026.
Designer Days is a format developed by Pegasus Spiele that enables aspiring game designers to present their game ideas to the editorial team digitally. Designer Days launched for the first time in May 2020 and was created in response to the contact restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, game designers have regularly been invited to present their ideas, resulting in successful games such as the children’s memory game Memo Mission by Christopher Garbe and Patrick Russell, and most recently Tricky Traders by Colin Dömer.
On March 25-26, 2026, Designer Days will take place again but, for the first time, will exclusively explore the field of high-end core games and expert games. Interested designers will have the opportunity to present their game ideas in German or English during a short video conference with the Pegasus Spiele editorial team and Ralph Bruhn from Hall Games (Djinn, Bonfire etc.) on both days. In addition to participants who already have gained insight into the industry, Designer Days Expert explicitly welcomes inexperienced game authors.
After the presentations, the designers will receive feedback on their ideas. If the editorial team is convinced by the presentation, the designers submit a prototype which will be tested by the editorial team. This may result in an offer for future publication through the Pegasus Spiele publishing program. Registration is now open and will remain so until March 15 via an online form. Due to limited capacity, registration does not constitute confirmation of a scheduled conference date.
