Pegasus Designer Days returns, September 2024

Friedberg, August 7, 2024: Once again, Pegasus Spiele invites game designers from all over the world to the next Pegasus Designer Days from September 24-26. There they can present one or two of their best game ideas to the Pegasus Spiele editorial team via online conference. Registration is open now through September 15.

The digital Pegasus Spiele Designer Days have been held regularly since May 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. They offer international game designers an opportunity to easily share their work with the Pegasus Spiele editorial team, without the need for travel. Two games that were first presented at the Designer Days have been released: the expert game Corrosion, by Stefan Bauer, was published by Pegasus Spiele partner Deep Print Games, and the memo-game Memo Mission, by Christopher Garbe and Patrick Russell, was published by Pegasus Spiele.

From September 24-26, designers will once again have the chance to present up to two game ideas. The board game editorial team, led by Klaus Ottmaier, is looking forward to new designs for both family and core games. Some weeks following the event, feedback will be provided for each game presented. For those ideas that spark the interest of the team, a playable prototype will be requested so the design can be tested extensively. Finally, the designers will be sent additional feedback—and possibly an offer for publication through Pegasus Spiele.

Registration is open now through September 15th. Please note that registering for Designer Days does not guarantee a meeting, as the number of attendees is limited. After review of all applicants, the selected participants will receive an invitation with a time slot and the link to the video conference. Children’s games or expert games will currently not be reviewed.

The Designer Days page includes the registration link, tips to help with your game design, as well as prepare for the presentation, and information about past events: www.pegasus.de/en/designer-days
