Pegasus Spiele is hosting the next Designer Days in September
Friedberg, August 04, 2026: Following the Designer Days Expert event held in March of this year, which focused on finding complex new game concepts in the expert and advanced core game categories, Pegasus Spiele is hosting the next Designer Days from September 16 through 18 — this time once again seeking innovative ideas for family and core games. Registration is now open through August 30.
The editorial team at Pegasus Spiele is looking forward to discovering fresh ideas from (aspiring) game designers in mid-September. To submit their own game idea to the editorial team, applicants do not need any prior experience in creating board games: Newcomers are just as welcome as experienced designers. During a brief video conference, designers can present one or two game ideas to the editorial team in German or English, and then — if the presentation is convincing — submit a playable prototype at a later date. After extensive playtesting, the idea might even make it into Pegasus Spiele’s publishing lineup.
The focus at the upcoming Designer Days is on games in the family and core segments; children’s games and expert games cannot be submitted this time. Registration is now open and will continue until August 30 via an online form. Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot, as capacity is limited. All further information, tips for interested game designers, and the registration form can be found at pegasus.de/en/designer-days.
The Pegasus Designer Days have been held at regular intervals since May 2020 and were originally launched in response to social distancing restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, this event has repeatedly offered creative minds the opportunity to present game ideas. In recent years, several games have emerged from this format and been released, such as Memo Mission by Christopher Garbe and Patrick Russell, and most recently, Tricky Traders by Colin Dömer.
