Pegasus Designer Days returns, September 2025
Friedberg, August 6, 2025: Once again, Pegasus Spiele invites game designers from all over the world to the next Pegasus Designer Days from September 24-26. There they can present one or two of their best game ideas to the Pegasus Spiele editorial team via online conference. Registration is open now through September 7.
The digital Pegasus Spiele Designer Days have been held every year since May 2020 – a concept that originated from the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. Two games that were first presented at the Designer Days have been released: the expert game Corrosion, by Stefan Bauer, published by Pegasus Spiele partner Deep Print Games, and the memo-game Memo Mission, by Christopher Garbe and Patrick Russell. Tricky Traders, the latest game discovered at Designer Days and developed by newcomer board game designer Colin Dömer, is expected to be released at SPIEL Essen.
From September 24-26, designers will once again have the chance to present up to two game ideas in short video conferences. The Pegasus Designer Days are characterized above all by the fact that all designers are invited to participate, regardless of whether they have already gained experience as a game designer. The board game editorial team, led by Klaus Ottmaier, is looking forward to new designs for both family and core games.
If their pitch convinces the editors, the designers have the opportunity to submit a playable prototype for testing, which may result in the possibility of publication by Pegasus Spiele. Registration is open now through September 7th. As the number of attendees is limited, registration for Designer Days does not guarantee a meeting. Children’s games or expert games will currently not be reviewed.
