Friedberg, November 19, 2024: With the appointment of Esra Edel as International Business Developer, Pegasus Spiele is further expanding its international business. Since July, he has also assumed team leadership of the localization team.
Esra Edel has been working at Pegasus Spiele since 2014. After being part of the marketing team for several years, he switched to the localization team in 2019 as Sales Manager of Localizations. Since then, his tasks have included the worldwide acquisition of new localization partners, the presentation of new Pegasus Spiele games, the sale of localization products and licenses to publishers abroad, as well as contract negotiations. He has led the localization team since July of this year.
In addition to this role, he now operates as International Business Developer for Pegasus Spiele. His responsibilities include the promotion, development and expansion of the Pegasus Spiele brand worldwide, the maintenance and expansion of long-term business relationships, and the representation of Pegasus Spiele at international trade fairs such as DiceCon in Beijing, China and GenCon in Indianapolis, USA.
In his free time, he also enjoys playing board games. His favorite games include Istanbul, First Rat, and Cat in the Box. About his new career challenge, he says: “I look forward to developing new markets for Pegasus Spiele in regions where board games are not as known as they are in Germany. It’s always exciting to visit publishers from all around the world or meet them at international conventions. Especially, it’s great to find new partners to bring our games to people all around the world.”
