The Pegasus Spiele Gaming Days run through May 10th
Friedberg, April 13, 2026: This spring, game enthusiasts and anyone looking to become one have reason to celebrate, because the Pegasus Spiele Gaming Days are back! Until May 10, five games can be tried out for free: Dice Pool Party, Paws Up and Light Speed Arena, as well as Boss Fighters QR and Stupor Mundi.
Pegasus Spiele has once again packed boxes full of new releases and sent them to numerous game stores and clubs in Germany and Europe so that the games can be played there in a social setting. Playing is free, and no registration is required. However, a mobile device (cell phone or tablet) is needed to play Boss Fighters QR and Light Speed Arena. The respective apps can be downloaded for free from the Apple or Android App Store. All titles are recommended for ages eight and up or ten and up, respectively, and feature easily accessible gameplay concepts. This makes them suitable for families as well as fans of entertaining games. For further information and a list of all events, visit the Pegasus Spiele Gaming Days info page.
How about starting with a little pool party – but with dice?! In Dice Pool Party everyone has to focus when the dice are splashing around because the players have just three seconds to try to memorize which dice will give the most points. Then every player chooses a category they consider to be the most profitable this time and after twelve quick rounds a winner is declared.
To relax a bit, it can’t hurt to look at some adorable animals, right? In the card game Paws Up all players try to post the best performing pictures of little animals on a new social media platform. Over thirteen rounds, everyone just swaps the cards on their profile with other photos. The cutest and funniest pets will probably receive the most “Paws”, but players shouldn’t forget to post some “Stories” by collecting photos which fit together in sets – and should always keep the current trends in mind!
Light Speed Arena though is rather fast-paced. In this game, all players must simultaneously position their spaceships in a space battle arena within just a few seconds so that their laser beams target asteroids or enemy spaceships – and don’t accidentally hit their own. A free companion app helps with the scoring.
Another game accompanied by an app is the SPIEL 2025 highlight Boss Fighters QR. Up to four players team up to battle digital bosses using custom card decks. Thanks to seamless app integration, not only is the effect of the scanned cards applied immediately, but the group also sees the boss’s reaction right away. This creates a dynamic and tactical back-and-forth.
Stupor Mundi is the only expert game on this list dedicated to players who are looking for a more strategic experience. As a king’s henchmen, everyone tries to build their own castle, while also training specialists and issuing edicts. Over several phases, all players must travel around new locations and perform actions to have the most impact on the king’s reign.
