Pegasus Spiele at the UK Games Expo 2026

Friedberg, May 26, 2026: At UK Games Expo from May 29 to 31, Pegasus Spiele is looking forward to meeting gaming fans at booth 3-430. Visitors can try out and purchase various games from the publisher’s portfolio like the family games Boss Fighters QR, Game of the Year 2025 Bomb Busters, DONE I AM or Light Speed Arena as well as games from publishing partner Deep Print Games like Deckers, Ghostbumpers, and many more.

In recent years, the annual UK Games Expo (UKGE) has grown to become the largest Hobby Game Convention in the UK. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the event will take place at the NEC Birmingham from May 29 to 31 (Friday & Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-4pm). At Pegasus Spiele booth 3-430, visitors can play the newest games from their catalogue and even get a sneak peek at some of the new releases coming in June, including Wine & Cheese and Wolfmoon. Along with Light Speed Arena, Captain Look, Deckers and Skybridge, these are some of the highlights:

In Boss Fighters QR up to four players team up to battle ten unique digital bosses using custom card decks. Once each player has chosen a hero deck – jungle troll, hill halfling, copper dwarf, or wood elf – and combined it with one of the four class decks – warrior, mage, rogue, or druid – the battle begins. The scan-and-play technology built into the Boss Fighters QR app instantly recognizes the physical cards using their QR codes. The boss’s reactions then appear in the app within seconds.

The Game of the Year 2025 is also on the list: Bomb Busters. As a bomb disposal team, two to five players must work together to defuse dangerous explosive devices without blowing everything up! In 66 tricky missions, the team must use their deduction and communication skills to identify and cut pairs of numbered cables. But each player can only see their own cables …

With Dorfromantik – Light Luggage, players can look forward to a relaxed cooperative gaming experience. The standalone successor to Dorfromantik – The Board Game is a compact version of the base game, yet it offers a new, standalone campaign featuring new game components hidden in five secret boxes. All fans of Dorfromantik shouldn’t miss the Dorfromantik tournament on Sunday at 9am, featuring a specially designed, custom tournament set created exclusively for competition. Registration is available at the booth.

All fans of quick, fun card games should take a look at DONE I AM, the standalone sequel of I AM DONE for two to five players. The only rules are: Each round, in clockwise order, a player will either draw a new card from the deck or play a card from their hand and follow its instructions. Players will find all other instructions on the 83 cards designed by various illustrators.

Ghostbumpers is also a fast-paced card game. Designed for three to six players, it’s an easy-to-learn trick-taking game with an unusual theme: monsters riding bumper cars at the fairground. Whoever plays the highest card in the round wins the trick, but players want to stay in control of how many tricks they win, because for each they must reveal a card from their character deck. If they reveal too many and expose their scare card, their character will be frightened away by the monsters and will score no points.

More information about the convention can be found on the UKGE website.
